Wayne D. Wisbaum
Mr. Wisbaum is a Partner with the Firm and heads the Firm’s Real Property Valuation and Tax Assessment Reduction Practice Group. Mr. Wisbaum received his BA from Cornell University in 1956 and his LLB from Harvard Law School in 1959. Mr. Wisbaum is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association, the American Law Institute, and the American Judicature Society.
Mr. Wisbaum devotes a substantial amount of time to public service. He is immediate past Chairman and President of the Foundation for Jewish Philanthropies, a past Chairman of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, a past Vice Chairman of Artpark & Company, Chairman Emeritus for Life and a past President of Kleinhans Music Hall, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries, Director Emeritus of the Zoological Society of Buffalo, a member of the Board of Directors of the Irish Classical Theater Company, a past member of the Board of Directors of the Burchfield Penney Art Center, a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation of the State University College at Buffalo, and a member of the Board of Trustees of Daemen College. Among a number of other awards, honors and recognitions, Mr. Wisbaum was the 2003 recipient of the New York Bar Association’s Root Stimson Award for outstanding commitment to community and to the improvement of the justice system. Mr. Wisbaum is listed in Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in World Jewry, and Who’s Who in American Law.
