Nash House Plaque Unveiled

On Saturday, May 26, 2012, the Nash House Museum Plaque was unveiled in a brief ceremony in front of the Museum which commemorates the life of Rev. J. Edward Nash, Sr. (1868-1957). Pictured below, Reverend Gloria E. Payne of St. Philips Episcopal Church in Buffalo addresses supporters and admirers of the Museum and the Nash family. George K. Arthur, Chairman of the Board of the Michigan Street Historic Preservation Corporation is standing next to the Plaque. Next to Mr. Arthur is Dr. Jesse Nash, Rev. Nash’s son, and assisting him is Dr. Nash’s son.

Below, Cynthia Van Ness, of the Buffalo Historical Society, greets Dr. Nash and his son and shares some thoughts about the significance of Rev. J. Edward Nash Sr.
