On June 5, 2017, Deborah J. Chadsey and R. Scott DeLuca were honored to be admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. In a ceremony occurring in open Court, Ms. Chadsey and Mr. DeLuca were sworn-in to the bar as part of the American Bar Association’s annual Supreme Court Admission group. In addition to being admitted to the bar, Ms. Chadsey and Mr. DeLuca were able to observe the Court’s proceedings on that day, which included the announcement of four decisions of the Court. After the Court session was concluded, Ms. Chadsey and Mr. DeLuca gathered with the other members of the ABA admission class in the Supreme Court’s West Conference Room, where Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg addressed the newly-admitted members of the Supreme Court Bar.
