Samuel L. Shapiro
Mr. Shapiro participates in civic and charitable endeavors. He is a former Vice Chairman of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Campus, Vice Chairman and a past president of the Rosa Coplon Jewish Home and Infirmary, served as President of Temple Beth Zion, is a Director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Buffalo, Inc., from 2004-2009 he served the Erie County Medical Center Corporation as Vice Chairman and as a member of the Board of Directors from 2007-2009, and from 2007-2009 he also served as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee.
Mr. Shapiro has the highest Martindale-Hubbell rating (AV) for legal ability and professional standards. He has been included in The Best Lawyers in America for Health Care law and Corporate law and in New York Super Lawyers. In 1999, he received from the University at Buffalo Law Alumni Association, the Distinguished Alumni Award for Leadership by Example as a Private Practitioner.
